They started with flowers

The story of Knots Cafe and Living began when it’s founder, Joseph Yeo, an entrepreneur started Xpressflower.com, a floral delivery service in Singapore. Also, with the success of Xpressflower, he subsequently was inspired to create a space where customers could relax and enjoy good food while browsing for home decor items. This led to the opening of Knots Cafe and Living in 2016.

Also, a water feature greets you at the entrance where you be led to your table by friendly waitering staff.

The decor is rustic with a modern twist, featuring wooden tables, vintage tiles, and hanging plants. The cafe is designed to make customers feel at home and create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Knots have quite a tad bit of a hipster feel with am ambience mix of PS café and Wild Honey we previously visited, albeit with more flowers.

A conservative menu selection

Furthermore, the menu at Knots Cafe and Living is a fusion of Western grills, Asian cuisines and accompanied with cafe drinks. There is a touch of creativity to distinguish themselves from the already crowded western grille market. Also, menu prices range in the $20 range. Their coffee accompanies the main courses well or by themselves with pastries.

The Chicken Chop is well-cooked, fresh with food quality is comparable to that offered by Molten diners at Thompson road. Also, if you’re in the mood for a burger, their Knots Beef Burger ($18) is a recommendation. It is the signature dish of the cafe. This juicy burger is made with a homemade beef patty, caramelized onions, crispy bacon, and melted cheddar cheese, served with a side of fries.
