boarding passes check!
littered along the terminal are large multi-coloured, multi-lingual sign boards
...quite sometime to reach...
note the same looming skylight over here too
the holding area gates we enter!
wait till u take a bite off it!
more moments of zen...
view from the counters, imagine see a horde/swarm of people coming towards you here when a A380 is emptied
another finger happy shot!
happy spaces for people with flags and ply cards!
mmm spacey airlock wrapgates... I like!
the skytrains run mainly on rubber wheels, with guidewheels enclosed by concrete walls
off the the departures we go!
departure UFO - whos your daddy?
more arrows which points everywhere, anywhere
the T3 run and taxi-way are already in operation
The B1 and B4 gates are few of the 8 specially built aerogates for the airbus A380
few of the cushiony jumpy curvy seaties!
note the travellators here are little more well fed and bigger (wider)
another overview of the immigration area
heres where your baggage will decide to U-turn back into the kitchen for a sushi plate refill, sakae sushi style
out at the arrival public area we have food & mainly tourist information booths
the MRT station/linkway also now serves as an underpass
as you can see, no metal rails
Welcome to Singapore's Airport Terminal 3!
weg ot caught up with a brief of the scaled model of T3 floorplan showing the key terminal location and facilities
finally time to enter the restricted areas!
the the dismay of aunties all around, looks like no one can do much shopping today!
with mainly... a-hem, SIA as the only occupants.
noticeboard rules for those who get a kick from reading all these...
lined throughout are also these spill-resistant back-bendy designer-looking seats
the demo skytrain in operation
another moment of zen with the cool umm green wall!
note how vast the place is, not to mention a 7 floor skylit ceiling!
this long arrival walkway runs the whole length of the first floor
linking T2 and T3 together!
so the trains travel like giant Tamiya race cars in contained tracks in a mechanical layman sense
Here we enter the twitlight zone from below...
here we are the twilight departure wrap gate, but...
we see draped sheets!
there will be tons of R&R TVs, sofas, not to mention lots of free internet access stations for ya geeknerds
here is the butterfly garden
here we go past many of the many few security checkpoints
few more facts of the day! huurr!
these 2 platforms within the transit area will serve the long B gates.
here is one end of the green wall
I kinda like how this picture came out
here we have snaking taxi queues which can be double up for hello kitty queuing as well!
and here we are at good 'ol T2
An unobstructed dignified view of the good 'ol control tower
