Peppermill Fireside Lounge diner at Las Vegas

Peppermill diner is an American family dining diner restaurant. The diner serves a variety of Southern style western cuisines in huge portions a family-friendly environment 24 hours a day. Let’s check out what Peppermill Fireside Lounge diner at Las Vegas has to offer.

The branch I am visit today at Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. It is located on the northern end of the strip in a large outdoor parking lot. Notably, across the street is where the Circus Circus hotel and adventure dome theme park reside.

Furthermore, the diner has a rather retro and rustic feel to it. Tad like an old school single floored diner you see in the movies. Tasteful purple lights illuminates the general booth restaurant seating areas and open bar area in a separate sector. Also, the seating booths are flanked by decorated trees.

It gives the dining area a cozy feel without being over the top. Notably, the eatery is extremely popular. On my visit, I had to wait about an hour in-queue before a table is available. This was even at 9pm for dinner.

Moreover, being Vegas, the diner also has a jackpot room which sits by the establishment main bar room by the entrance. Something to keep yourself occupied in your wait? The diner also has flaming reflection pool bar area.

What’s on the menu?

Peppermill Fireside Lounge offers a selection of pasta, grilled chicken, and steaks. With a touch of southern-style cooking. It is tad bit like the offerings of Yardbird we visited at MBS previously or Buxie chicken at downtown Las Vegas too. You have a choice of grill mains. The food portions are what you expect of American-sized large portions. They are large and what you expect in America.

Selling point are their steaks, you have their Porterhouse steak with mushrooms for $32, Newyork steak and fettuccine $34 and topping up with their Savory Ribeye Steak at $34. Their steaks are all USDA choice flame-broiled steaks seasoned in cracked pepper. You mains all come with French fires of baked potatoes. There are also soup of day and salads accompanying your meal.

Moreover, the restaurant offers a selection of booth as well as high table bar seating if you desire a quick meal. You can see the kitchen staff behind the counter in the kitchen dishing out meals by the loads.

Especially on peak dinner periods. In typical American fashion, a dedicated waiter or waitress server will tend to you your entire dining duration. A simple wave your arm will sure to catch his or her attention for any matters regarding your dine-in experience.

A gastronomical filling affair

Moving on are Peppermill diner’s Entrees. It comprises mainly of selections of pork, fish and chicken dishes. Prices range in the more affordable realm of $21 USD to $26 USD range. Chicken selections include their Creamy chicken Dijon and Chicken Parmesan. While fish options includes Icelandic fish and chips, and fillet of salmon.

Moreover, if you desire something less filling, there is the Fettuccine Alfredo. It is a breakfast item served throughout the day. It is sauteed in butter, cream, Parmesan cheese and spices. You can have it with either chicken ($24) or shrimp ($26) toppings.

Also, Peppermill Fireside Lounge food quality is good. Also considering the dishes do cost quite a premium when converted to SGD at about $50 SGD a pop. Miscellaneous options includes Southwestern beef kabobs and BBQ pork ribs.

I wasn’t able to try out most of their menu items, only was able to stomach a small selections during my visit. But boy, was I already impressed by the small selections I had during my visit. The pasta I ordered for instance Doused with generous servings of spaghetti bolognese sauce and topped with loads of grated cheese.

All in all. Peppermill Fireside Lounge. If you do not mind the long wait times even till late. You won’t be disappointed dining here for an authentic American old time favorite.
