- here we are at the Horts!
- prior to Hort park is a small little public garden
- the greenhouse area
- I just have to get this nice closeup
- one part of the route even passes by the old Depot road colonial bungalows, 1up for privacy!
- theres a proper rest area and snack area in the park as well
- a nice view from the pool side restaurant area
- grass too cushy I guess...
- we love our hort-ners!
- did I mention neat?
- and invisible people having wine!
- a scarecrow with not crows to scare
- some more stainless steel structure porn
- hort park also allows you to appreciate shiny stuffs sticking from the ground
- plants growing out of almost anything
- the whole structure floor is mainly made from triangular gratings with holes large enough to allow leaves/water to fall through,
- the park also snakes along side contrasting industrial areas
- and here we are finally at West coast park!
- a view you never thought you can get in central Singapore... (now is that a starbucks joint behind that tree?)
- some of the trekkers on a mission...
- this part of the trek sees us back into some small secondary forests again
- some of the various cool night lighters along the floor
- and we are off to the treetop canopies!
- though we could really appreciate the shade of a primary forest!
- who knows what those evil botanists are brewing in here, killer tomatoes?
- and nice touches of neat modern architecture
- few of the winding meandering paths in the area
- the height is cool, but not scary enough!
- hi I am a sign and I tell no lies, succumb to my directions!
- despite it's proximity to Hort park, the place is only frequented only by regulars or people living around the area
- the place also spots an offroad trail for mountain bikers and trekkers
- offering rather interesting but otherwise tree-obscured views
- the 1st glimpse of our steel trees
- something tells me the trees here love to fall...
- beyond the ridges lies the "Hort" part of Hort park, thats ... just before the million dollar lawn...
- a walk on the upper Kent Ridges of Kent Ridge, get it?
- here, we get the backdoor entry to the park note its proximity to the road!
- trees+top= need for relief meaning more uphills!
- few of the omg! part of the trip! (while I can hear you hillwork runners go yay!)
- there are many other nice oddities on display too...
- sc tbp157
- Kent Ridge (park) itself!
- and poof suddenly here we are at NUS!
- Here we have big PUB water bottles
