On the road from town to the park -
complete with authentic graffiti -
Here we are at the east end of the golden gate park -
It is a rather huge park to begin with -
lotsa walking to do -
The park's rather sparse -
The John F Kennedy drive serving the park -
many statues along the common paths -
the park's home to many establishments -
such as the Conservatory of flowers -
The front gardens -
it's essentially a nursery and greenhouse -
and houses a collection of rare and exotic plants -
winter planters by the conservatory -
The flower beds in winter -
tick tock! -
built in 1878... -
it remains the oldest building in the park -
carrying on west into the park -
not many plants out in december winter -
moving on to open plains -
The Music concourse -
It's an open garden -
decked out with monuments -
the concourse fountain -
and surrounding art show -

which are mostly London plane and Scotch elm -
