I doubt they will do the same test, will be quite stupid of them to use the same test after it's been done once.

Hey josh, the test is not over dude, there are still TSA on in Nov- December for the UK interviews. So the best is to of course not reveal anything till the admission results are out.

Heya Shaun, now that the test is over - what did you write about in the essay so we can compare? Which question did you answer, and why did you chose not to do the others?

My interview's over!

It went really well. Yes I was like all jumpy before the interview. Its like one of the cases where you are like on a knife edge of getting a heart attack if someone sudden burst a Balloon behind you, especially while you are waiting to enter the interview room.

Nevertheless, the interview went rather well for me, the interviewer was very friendly and did a very good job in calming your nerves. I actually enjoyed the interview!

Many candidates in Singapore were applying for economics and natural sciences though, only a small handful of us engineering peeps there. I don't recall seeing any candidates today for med, so I guess your chances are there.

Good luck for your test and interview!

aha, my interview will in on in 2 hours time. Uhoh!

I am not from the A level stream, but rather from a Polytechnic in Singapore. So it's really an unconventional qualification.

Though I did quite a respectable amount of revisions beforehand, I just worry that I may be not as in touch with my curriculum which the interviewer could possibility ask.

I hope that will not give mature applicants like me who told a year out working in the industry a disadvantage compared to the vast majority fresh school leavers who are applying for a place there now as well and taking their 'A' levels this month.

Nevertheless I am always up for the challenge!

Hi Amerie, I won't be able to provide any run down on what the questions which will be asked. Sorry, it's also in the interest of the candidates who took the test and the director of studies who will be testing the candidates, the only thing I can share is the strategies which I have mentioned in my post which can help you a fair bit I guess.

After all, the papers are meant to test your unlearnt knowledge, so preparing for it might give you an edge maybe, but not much.

Furthermore, I believe that the papers for the Singapore and ones held in Cambridge itself will be different.

Nevertheless, glad to see another prospective candidate here as well, what subject are you intending to read in Cambridge?

yea, it's like one of those college entrance exam test, this one is like a test of your thinking and problem solving ability. I believe this will gauge how "teachable" you are as a student there.

I think the interviews will be the main area to show whether you can make or or lose it all there. I am getting all jumpy on that already!
