Behold Singapore’s first marathon for the 2008 season! And looks like Formula 1 is not the only one racing at night for now! The route will take on the spanking new East-North park connectors with 42km under the belt in one loop (hint hint) and 2 loops for the 84km ultra marathon.
It had been time that we get a decent non-repeating marathon route around Singapore Yea! Only time will tell whether hivelocity will organize a good event up to runners expectations, especially the crowd and baggage collection area (hint hint).
“Take part in the event as an individual in the Marathon category or take on the challenge of the Ultra-Marathon in the first ever night marathon in Singapore.”

Hey Shaun where did you get the info of the categories from? I visited the sundown marathon official website but i do not see any category for the 21km half marathon.Only the 42km & 84km categories are available.
Hey claudio, this news was posted abit late on the site so that is what I currently have on hand. Yea I just checked too, the 21km had been removed from their website.
Will check with them whether the 21km is still available or set to tentative.
wah sian.. now then post… i missed the early bird registration liao…
i hope the ultra marathorn will start before 12mid, or else the runners will burn like siao in the late morning if they haven finish… good luck to all runners… have a nice and fantastic run ! its all in your MIND !!! Just Do It….

Hi, I just want to guess how many runners in ultramarathon category will be able to finish and how many under 8 hours.:roll:
under 8 would be the “recommended timing” I think realistically most will come in 9-10 hours. Under 8 is really not bad, meaning not many!
so, will there be a 21km category?
