Hey Valentine’s day is on this saturday, and guess what? whats more than having work on sunday? screwy right? no Saturday night on valentine’s day… argh!!

On a more positive side… for the week, my newly anticipated phone, the Siemens SX1 would be out on this week itself , though I have not seen or heard any advertisments myself so far, the buzz and friends around me on my new phone is kinda scary though too, its like they know what I want!… brrr!

So far, there are quite a few people I know (bout 1-30) in Singapore who owns the phone, getting them mainly from those little handphone importer’s shops, but heck they are easily going at about $1200 few months back, coming down to $888 for a 2yr starhub plan and $750 for the M1 one respectivity. Nothing released on official mobile provider charges. I would most prob be getting it with a 2 yr extension on my current singtel classic plan. Hope singtel have the plan going below $700, then my pocket won’t hurt so much…

Dropped bown to Ang Mo Kio today after collecting my new pair of specs from the nearby optician. The famous Ang Mo Kio lor mee and laksa store had moved to another hawker center at AMK avenue 3/10 which was previously from the old kallang hawker center area (where they moved from another AMK hawker center) earlier last year). The lunch decision came at a very last minute as my sis impulsively suggested trying out the good old dish (which sadly my parents miss too), that kinda messed up my plans for the day as I actually have alot to actually do at home, namely finishing uncompleted models for weeks, tidying up the room, actually get some guitar practice sessions.. etc

All in hand, had some instant photos taken at a nearby photo studio there before lunch, had my usual 2 bowls (one lormee and another bowl of laksa). Walked the central shops area before heading to my grandma’s house which is very much around the vincinity.

Returned home at about 3pm++ where I finally managed to find time to rush-finish my Master grade griffon mech model and cracking my head at the dumb php wordpress templates which I hope, to finish by today (which I unfortunately didn’t)

May a “presentable site” be up by next saturday.. *duh*

Its another weekend zipping past… too fast…

Well, after some longg.. long time away from blogging cos of some dumb harddisk crash at HTGK, which kinda nuked the whole site including the hosted sites (dammit and they ARE using phpnuke) did brought up some questions regarding the need of a dedicated host….

Anyway, I am back! First of all with the new domain shaunchng.com, a fresh new automated blogging system, wordpress. Lets get on with it man!

Yucks *looks around the default templates* I think I’d better be working on a new template. Would most probably be up up the weekend, hopefully saturday, in the meantime, chill!
