Been around with my host lately to discuss upgrades to the my current hosting plans of shaunchng.com. Having doubled both my webspace and bandwidth to accommodate for future site expansions. Though my site doesn’t really take up much space (about 380MB in pages and images in total), bandwidth was a particular concern especially with the increasing traffic to the site (about 450MB transferred daily form page views alone).

The site had always and will still be hosted on a lightning fast Singaporean server, which is not really the cheapest in the market, especially we know about Overseas hosts offering like 300Gb of webspace and 3TB of bandwidth at a fraction of the hosting rates I am paying for, I believe those are gimmicks, and my current host had been performing to expectations to date so I am sticking with them.
